Sometimes, entrepreneurship sucks.

While I enjoy managing my small business, sometimes I have to wonder why I decided to pursue it as a career. It’s hard work. And, yes I certainly knew it wouldn’t be easy. But I thought it would get easier with time; or at least it wouldn’t be as hard as it was when I started.

I have followed, read, researched and tried concepts and strategic plans of entrepreneurship of just about every business leader. It still has not gotten easier.

On a positive note, I certainly feel empowered when I am successful at a task or project. I am really stoked at the accomplishments I’ve made with my website. I designed it (well two) myself. And I know my business concept can be helpful to my target audience, so why is it so difficult?

“When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it.” Henry Ford, founder of Ford Motor Company.

But guess what, I do it every day. I do it even when it doesn’t feel good. I still try different techniques and processes in order to increase success within my business. I still push through.

There are some benefits to entrepreneurship. I get to make my own schedule and I get to work from home if I choose. But you already know this.

I often wonder if anyone else feels the same way.

Are there any entrepreneurs that feel the same way that I do? Or did you once feel that way, but have moved passed this stage? How did you move pass this stage?
